It usually starts with a character.

A funny expression. An odd little shape. A creature with something to say.

From there, I love discovering who they are, where they live and what might happen next.

My work moves between illustration, watercolor, collage, painted paper and pattern, but the heart of it stays the same: personality, play and a little bit of story.
